I am a graphic designer and illustrator. I have worked in advertising for several years and decided to update my skills with computer graphics.

I have an Associate of Science degree in Graphic Art and Multimedia which I completed in December 2006.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. My artwork at that time was scientific illustration rendered in pen and ink; especially concentrating on botanical and marine science. My love of nature is reflected in most of my work.

New collage work incorporates natural, artistic calligraphic elements. My love of different papers and textures has been used along with embellishments. My collage work is somewhat of a departure from precise artwork by depicting pen manipulation in a nontechnical style.

Art and craft combine along with digital computer design. I scan my original illustrations worked in gouache, watercolor, colored pencil and/or ink, into photoshop and illustrator to digitally manipulate my artwork.

My portfolio also includes handmade books; and most of these are rendered in a nontraditional design.
